A: While this dimmer will dim to 1% light level, it will not have the Soft-on, Fade-to-black feature.

Q: Can a constant voltage driver be used with MR16 LEDs?
A: You would not be able to control low-voltage MR16 LEDs with an external driver, even if they are constant voltage. MR16 LEDs have an internal driver and so only a transformer would be needed to drop the voltage down to 12 or 24V.
