The QS5110-840 is Wireless Qolsys' IQ Smoke/Heat Detector. The QS5110-840 is connected to an IQ Panel and monitored around the clock, whether your panel is armed or not. The IQ Smoke discovers the existence of smoke by using photoelectric smoke-sensing technology and confroms to UL 217. Not only does the IQ Smoke detect the presence of smoke particles but it also recognizes the rapid rise of heat that can come from a fire, even when there is no smoke. The system is always connected allowing you to receive a text or email alert if any problem should arise, wherever you are.
